The USBCNC-FAD disk reader control acts as an interface between commercially available
USB flash memory and any Fadal CNC 88 using the RS-232 port located at the rear of the
machine. USB connectivity can be achieved with any Fadal control. The USBCNC-FAD
contains integrated DNC functionality for drip feed operation of large files from a USB
key. Operation of the USBCNC is done using the machine's keyboard and monitor. Designed
for easy field installation, the total time required for USB connectivity is usually
less than 5 minutes. The USBCNC-FAD controller has all the same features as the Fadal
CNC floppy drive option, but with far greater memory and reliability.

This is a USB internal interface for
your Fadal CNC88 control that provides an alternative method of transferring programs
to/from PC and the true beauty is drip feeding with no wires or noise interference
problems as with cables. Operators can instantly choose their CNC file source.
(Remote PC or panel mount USB key) No A/B switch boxes or other physical connections
are required once installed.
Pictured below is the internal switch box version of the USBCNC controller and is
compatible with all serial DNC software including Fadal NC, DNC Software, Predator,
MasterCam, SurfCAM, Virtual Gibbs, and FeatureCAM. USBCNC controller with integral DNC
firmware. Includes serial port pass through for connection to existing serial networks.
The USBCNC-FAD disk reader control acts as an interface between commercially available

allows users to load and punch programs to any commercially available USB memory device.
The USBCNC-FAD-SW also contains integrated DNC functionality for drip feed operation of
large files. The proximity of the USBCNC-FAD-SW to the control ensures the highest baud
rate communication possible with a Fadal CNC.
The USBCNC-FAD-SW allows users to maintain their exiting serial networks by operating in pass through mode. Normal serial interface is maintained. In USB mode, the operator can load, punch and DNC files from any USB memory device.
